Heritage windows and doors with a timeless appeal
Choosing windows and doors for your home used to be a choice between low-maintenance UPVC and the timeless appeal of timber.
While wood has character, it can also mean maintenance, and with today’s busy lifestyles, that’s not always easy to fit in.
The good news is that Securahome can now offer the best of both worlds and, when only the best will do, our Heritage range gives you just that.
These timber alternative windows are crafted with all of the hallmarks of traditional, artisan joinery, combining charm and character with low-maintenance.
The Heritage range of flush, sash windows are designed with 19th century detailing and created considering Article 4 Conservation regulations to conform to historical design guidelines.
The painstaking attention to detail with this window range includes traditional putty lines, butt joints and ironmongery. To ensure that the finish is on-point, each window is finished by hand.
To add to the charm, each frame has a grained finish, which is continued throughout the window, including the reveal at the edge of the frame.
This level of detailing means that despite being made of low-maintenance composite materials, the windows are accepted in some conservation areas.
As well as looking good, windows in the Heritage range are A+ rated, making them amongst the most thermally efficient on the market.
Securahome’s Heritage Windows come in a number of classic ‘painted timber’ shades as well as natural finishes including English and Silvered Oak.
