One of our trusted surveyors will visit your home to check over the proposed plans and ensure that the project can proceed.
If planning permission is required, they’ll also gather the necessary details to submit within the application.
Planning & Building Regulations
Your Securahome surveyor will help complete your planning application form and we’ll submit it, along with the relevant drawings and information, to your local council.
Timescales can vary, but you allow around 10 weeks for Full Householder Planning Permission or 8 weeks for NCS approval.
Schedule of Works
Securahome will formulate a complete schedule of works and work with the appointed teams to coordinate the building work.
We’ll also discuss with you in advance if we need access to power or water, and check that all vehicles can safely get to your property.
Building & Installation
Your building team will discuss brick matches with you before the work begins. Once the initial building phase is complete, your frames and/or roof will be fitted.
We’ll manage all the tradespeople involved with your project from start to finish, so you can put your feet up while we do the heavy lifting.
Finishing
Once your project has been completed, we’ll give it a thorough check and ensure you’re fully satisfied.
Then, with everything signed off, you’re free to enjoy your new living space courtesy of Securahome!
